problem with settingup bootscreen ntoskrnl.exe

i cam accross that i can't get the bootscreen image i want and i can't get it too have windows setup the bootscreen. i followed this guide: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...878&hl=ntoskrnl and when i have it try too setup the boot screen windows says windows can not load ntfs.sys or missing ntfs.sys. i don't know what am i suppost too do but a i tryed the bootlogo.cmd and tryed too put iit on the cmdline.txt. would some1 please explain it a little better so i know what i am suppost too do. did any budy do something like this by this guide and can explain it a little better then what the guide says?

oh and this guide says it works but it dose nothing i followed it right too the T.

You have to use the proper color map for changes to the boot screen. If you followed the tut EXACTLY and used the proper color map for either paintshop or photoshop it will work....i have already done it with no trouble.

You also have to make sure that your edited version numbers are exactly the same as the original file!

i download a custom ntoskrnl.exe from www.themexp.org and it was suppost to be forced too use the custom ntoskrnl.exe is there a guide that tells you how correctly how too use a custom ntoskrnl.exe from themexplorg?

you already suggest your problem.

You didn't SEARCH did you? If you say yes, I call you a liar.

If you had searched, you would have found that YOUR problem is because of a file conflict. Recreate the kernel on your own.
