connect 2 comps together

i have 2 comps and a crossover ethernet cable. i want to connect the 2 comps together with this cable. both comps are xp pro sp2. how would i set this up?

Connect each side of the crossover cable to the Pc's NIC Cards.

Setup homesetwork with the Network Wizard.....and your done
