Hey Guys

It's My first time posting in this area and if I say something wrong, I am sorry. I was Editing my WPI Config file for my Apps and it my first time. I really don't know alot about Slient, Switch or Other Apps type. I wanted WPI to install the following Apps for me:

ABC-win32-v2.6.9.exe

Avast setupeng.exe (With Serial Number XXXXXXX-XXXXXXXXXX)

Cyberlink MP3 PowerEncoder for Windows Media Player.exe (Serial Number XXXX)

DiskeeperProfessional v9.0.504.exe

G-Force_270_Gold.exe (Serial Number XXXXXXX)

InterVideo Mp3 + DVD Pack setup.exe

Lavasoft Ad-Aware SE Professional 1.05.exe

mirc616.exe (Username and Password)

DAMN_NFO_Viewer_v2.10.0031.RC3_Setup.exe

Power DVD 6 (Serial Number XXXXXXX)

spywareblastersetup.exe

spywareguardsetup.exe

videolan-0.8.1-win32.exe

mp10setup.exe

Sorry if it is a long list. I only have two questions:

1) How can I find what type of Installer Program these apps are Using?

2) How do I program them in my WPI Config file? (Can I get two Example one for Avast setupeng.exe and one for mp10setup.exe PLEASE)

Here is the Code If you want to use it:

prog[pn]=['WinRAR Archiver']

desc[pn]=['ZIP-Folder Replacement. Handles almost all archive files.']

cmd1[pn]=['%cdrom%\\Install\\toConly\\WinRAR_Install.exe']

dflt[pn]=['yes']

cat[pn]=['System Tools']

pn++

Thank You Very Much for all the Help! :thumbup

P.S. Fusion :lol:

Check http://unattended.msfn.org for tips on what switchs to use and you can always search these forums for what type of insaller/switchs to use. If you use the lates version of WPI it will allow you to input the programs through the wpi.hta file so you dont have to manually do all the code..unless you find that faster :P

Find the switches with the search function, and check out the WPI documentation, on the wpi site ,especially the examples, and chek the WPI forum :D
