Unpack Genius DSC 1.3-M "camera" driver

It is packed with Install Shield.

Lies here.

Tried some switches (found at installshield.com) to unpack it, but all of them failed.

Tried also method, described by Bashrat here, it doesn't work also.

But Intel's drivers are possible to extract, so why?

Can somebody help?

I was able to extract the files using winrar.

I'm using version 3.42 which is the latest.

You unpacked driver installer, not the driver itself.

THAT is not a problem really :-)

It seems you have to unpack the data1.cab and data2.cab files. You can do that with the console utility i6comp.exe.

Use google to find and download it, move it to the folder %windir%\system32.

Now you have to open a command window in the folder in which the data1.cab and data2.cab files are in. Now enter the following command:

i6comp x data1.cab

and voila, there are the files you're searching for!

I've played already with i6comp, but used an old version, and it extracted a mess.
