gossamer70 Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 Greetings,I am having an wierd problem. Here is the situation. I have two computers on my home network connected by firewire. Both systems have ethernet card and are connected to a router and Cable modem. The internet portion works just fine. PC1 can connect to PC2 thru firewire with no issues. PC2 cannot connect to PC1 thru firewire, but has a slow establishing time over LAN. When trying to connect PC2 to PC1 over firewire, it gives me either this permissions error or that server is not startedWhat I have done so far.Restaged PC1 with XPpro w/sp1everything worked.Ran updateseverything acted like beforeRestaged PC1 from ghost image prior to updates.everything works again.Any thoughts? I could sure use some help on this onegossamer70
