Could someone pls update the guide made by IRP as Via has released Version 4.56v and it seems as if the file structure doesn't match with that shown by IRP.

If you look up in Via's installation Guide,

you will notice that they say the "VIA IDE Bus Mastering Driver" is only needed for WinNT whereas IRP wrote that the "VIA IDE Filter Driver" is the only driver needed for WinNT.

Furthermore i would like to know what is needed for Win 2k SP4.

Extract the package with winrar or winzip, You need the drivers from these folders:

\4in1 4.56V\IDEWin2K

\4in1 4.56V\Inf\Win2000

\4in1 4.56V\WIN2K
