mrsmitty14 Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 Ok this is my situation. I'm wanting to format my tablet pc laptop because when it came factory preset it had the fat32 structure and acer had partitioned my drive into two different ones. The only problem is that the recovery discs that acer supplied keep wanting to format the system back to that original way and put all that crappy software back on . I'm wanting to try and put a fresh copy of WinXP Pro on the system and then install all the drivers and software that I do want from the Acer system recovery discs. Am I missing anything by not installing WinXP "Tablet Edition" vs. WinXP Pro?
