FAT64
I don't think that you can connect XP Home to a Domain. It's really just for "Home" users, and not for networking purposes.Right-click "My Computer", select "Properties", click on the "Computer Name" tab, click on "Change", select "Domain" and type in the name of the Domain, you will be asked to enter a Username and Password of an Admin account on the Domain. Dell and Rodney
Would the same method allow me to connect to another domain without me having to specify it using the above method? i.e. i should be able to pick the domain (from the box you see at logon) so i pick the appropriate domain and logonthanks
FAT64
Yes, any Domain you connect to will show in the Logon dialog combobox.

You can't however pick a domain and logon unless there is a trust between your computer and domain (unless your computer is either joined to the particular domain, or is a member of a domain that has a trust with target domain)
