I installed win server 2003 trial version on vmware for educational purpose.

There is only 1 activation key.

If I create a new virtual machine with exact same setting will I still be able to activate it?

why would you create a new VM...just copy the VM and paste it.....

also you should be able to activate it 2times worst case senario just order another copy of the trial..

I install a VM and then copy it to a new location and then run the copy at the new location. That why when I mess up a VM I just copy a from the original and start over as many times as needed.

Yes.

Also, if you have same virtual config, then why do you want to activate it again - just copy over the activation-done file (wpa.dbl) from old VM to new one - it will be in

C:\windows\system32
