iam new here. but i've got sum questions.

what am i doing.

my friend and i are creating our new windows install with all programs we need and so i got the idea of an own windows style.

now my questions is: which file on the windows CD have i to change to have my different bootscreen at the very first startup?...

I'm not sure yet, but I would try these files:

I386\ntoskrnl.ex_ (think this is your best bet)

I386\driver.cab\ntoskrnl.exe

I386\sp2.cab\ntoskrnl.exe
