drivers from second cd posible?

i downloaded the new driverpack's from Bâshrat the Sneaky

and my cd is now 850 mb

the question is, is it posible that windows ask to put in a second cd [with the drivers], and copy's them to c:\ root and continue the installation

Are you using compression? Because I downloaded all Driver Pack + my Chipset drivers + my graphics drivers and once they are compressed with 7zip, I get a 83Mo archive!

The other alternative is to burn your Unattended CD to a 850Mo Media

how does it work if the drivers are in a zip file

i know i did read it somewhere but i dunno where it was

use the search button, and find driverpack method 2 made by Bâshrat the Sneaky

7zip is only another archive format, download 7-Zip install it, right click files/folder & select "add to archive"

The short answer is the following:

1) Put all your drivers folders in a directory named DP

2) Compress the directory with 7zip (Create SFX Archive)

3) Put the compressed file in $OEM$\$\

4) Add this to your winnt.sif

OemPnPDriversPath="DP\L\3C\1;Etc...

[GuiUnattended]
    DetachedProgram="%systemdrive%\DP.exe"
    Arguments="-y /q /r:n"

2. what do i use for comprsion method

3. dictionary size

and must i fil in somting in by parameters

Leave the parameter by default and go for Ultra Compression...

Yepp, since 2 month now I have switched to this method for Windows 2000 SP4 and Windows XP SP2

Edit: for now I have 359Mo of drivers compressed to 83Mo !!!

the multi-threading option is grey

and i cant seam to enable it

what's it for any way?

Not sure... maybe it has to do with the Compression Process on your computer...
