dlevens
What program is the best to use to extract the boot sector image file from and XP CD?The reason for this is when making my unattended DVD I do not want to have to create an iso and then burn the iso. Instead I want to use Nero to make the bootable DVD on the fly but I need the Microsoft Corporation.img file.I also do not want to just download the img file as I would prefer to know how to extract it and make sure it is the correct file. I played around with ultraiso and winimage and winiso but do not see how to extract as an img file. with ultraiso I can extract a .bif file but not sure how to use that in nero. Or is the .bif file the same as .img and I can just rename it?Dennis
Incroyable HULK
I think you are correct about the .bif file. You can use it with nero...
