jobbie Posted January 6, 2005 Share Posted January 6, 2005 ihave problem whit my already slipstreamed windows xp cd.this cd included service pack 2, media player 10 and all the other updates .i did make a new one of this cd and i did slipstreamed it whit the follow updates:media connect (the one i made whit the programm from GreenMachine)windowsxp kb873339windows xp kb885835windows xp kb885836windows xp kb886185windows xp kb887797i have placed the kb files into the folder svc-hf1i had after slipstreaming al the kb files not installed whit a instalation of a new windows system.but the media connects it works fully thanks GMMy question is do i need al the updates included sp2 in one time or not.thanks anyway Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

tguy Posted February 4, 2005 Share Posted February 4, 2005 If your talking about installing post SP2 updates, you can use the svcpack.inf method, batch file deployment with qchain.exe, and a number of other methods.Search the forum for this info. GreenMachine Posted February 7, 2005 Share Posted February 7, 2005 Actually, pre-slipstreamed versions are OK, as long as the corresponding hotfixes are used.
