i have run a virus scan using norton and it came back clean ,although it did find a couple of trojans i picked up with showdown pro irc script:)

anyone got any ideas??????

if this is nothing i appologise ,but as i havent a clue why it should keep coming up ??

do your copies of XP work? scan the disc with clony and see if it has read errors on it.... i think XP has a built in feature that stops you copying your CD. ive made ONE that works but its still got errors on the disc at 99% but it installs fine etc no problems using the disc

I think this file is made by Half-Life, just delete the contents and make it read-only, it was in there when i was on win 98 and some people said its a half-life file on a different messageboard

its because windows is wanting to be reactivated.. but thats blocked, im sure thats what this is, and its safe to wipe the whole file off. oh and i sorted my burning problem out... crap discs was the problem... i thought samsung where good too.. normally ok, but these had shadows on the disc if you tilted it in the light, like cloud formations..wierd!

ah well its sorted now :)
