Hi

I have set up a vpn server using win2000 server which i can connect to from a freinds house,

I have install Netbeui on the server and enable Netbeui over TCP/IP i have mapped a drive once but cant do it again,

Question 1

do i have to load Netbeui on my friends PC and every machine i want to use as a client

Question 2

once the VPN is connected should i be able to browse my vpnserver and local network which is connected to the server,and do i need netbeui again on all local machine,

Computer browsing over vpn is the popular issue. In your case, you may want to install WINS since you have windows 2000. The VPN will assign WINS to the VPN client.
