Loop of restarts after installing XP

I have XP with SP2 slipstreamed, modified boot screen, unattended, and many other nice things. I have installed it on 5+ IDE hard drives with no troubles at all. I try to install it on my SATA WD Raptor and can not seem to get it to work. First I added my Promise Drivers. It gets to the last step and restarts, then it goes and askes how to start windows, normally, safe mode ect. All of these options cause it to restart again. I thought this might be caused by the custom boot screen, so first I made another DVD without it, reinstalled, same thing happened. I go into the recover and type "fixmbr" to fix the master boot record. Nothing...

I thought of installing my RAID drivers with it but ran into something strange. It has a PCI\VEN line pratically the same as the SATA driver.

PCI\VEN_105A&DEV_3376 = "fastt2k"

PCI\VEN_105A&DEV_3373 = "ulsata"

PCI\VEN_105A&DEV_3373 = "fastt2k"

What should I do with this? Leave the 2nd fastt2k in or delete it?

Normal Windows XP has worked on the drive but then I would have to download SP 2 and that's a huge pain.

My motherboard is an Asus SK8V, my hard drive is a Western Digital Raptor. I am installing a custom Windows XP Professional.

If you need any more information just reply. I am also on AIM at Zedd127. AIM would be prefered as it is faster.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i don't know if this will help but did you scan your system to adware and viruses and did you update the drivers of all the components in your pc? and if you did try to re-install xp without losing files and setting and then get all of the updates again up until service pack2 and one more thing make sure you don't have any software installed that would cause conflicts with servicepack2 i hope this helps
