LCDs and Text?

Got a Samsung SyncMaster 712N LCD for Xmas.

I had a Samsung SyncMaster 750s CRT before this and one of the big advantages that the CRT had over my LCD was the displaying of text.

I have turned Cleartype on in XP and even downloaded a tweak tool from iolsland.com called ClearTweak, but didn't make any difference that I seem to notice.

Are there any other tweaks to apply to make it as best as possible or is this just a downfall of LCDs?

Try the ClearType config tool from MSoft, its a power toy, else... just search around...
