couzin2000
Am I correct in assuming that the command line parameters for any install program depends on the installer (Wise, InstallShield, Windows Installer, etc)? If I am, is there a reference for these params anywhere on the net?I have several apps I want to install, yet I can't seem to find any command line params for these (like YuanSoft's AltoMP3, for example)Also, since registration of most programs is required, is there a way to register them with RunOnceEx (like having it run a reg file, or regging the apps directly from RunOnceEx)? DLF
Para1. Yes. Find out which installer it uses and "search" preferably in the correct forum = "Application Switches" http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showforum=80 Or run the installer with the /? switch to see a list available. Also SEARCH the main website!http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/applications/innosetup.htmhttp://unattended.msfn.org/xp/applications/installshield.htmhttp://unattended.msfn.org/xp/applications/nsis.htmhttp://unattended.msfn.org/xp/applications/wininstall.htmhttp://unattended.msfn.org/xp/applications/wise.htmPara2. Search for your switches in correct forum.Para3. Yes they can all be reg this way, so get all your other stuff together first and then post back for reg help with some more details. No problem. Tell us all what you're using, RunOnce or Batch_file.cmd?Edit: not gone mad, must have posted simultaneously with Incroyable Hulk!
