how can i run scripts before a user logon ?

Hi

i've searched around before i've asked and found to meny things

so please dont flame me if this question seems stupid

i have an xp machine and i want to run a registry script BEFORE any user logs on,

i mean before the logon screen

can this be done ? how ?

Yes it can be done.

You have to edit a local computer policy. Under computer configuration --> windows settings you can add a startup script and then the script will run before a user attempts to logon.
