take apart EVERYTHING?

what drugz are you on, you just pop the cover off and look, you might have to take the ram stick out to see as on some machines cables and stuff will block your view.. or its just dark inside.

Anyway i thought you just rebuilt your machine and put it in a new case.... :)

all the apps i know just show what speed, cas, and setting in your bios (ex. 2/2/2/) thats it, havent found one that show the maker because 99.9% chips are infieon chipset.

sisoft sandra will tell you the speed normally. depending on the brand that you use. look under "Mainboard Information"

mine says:

Memory Modules

Memory Module 1 : Samsung M3 68L3313BT0-CB0 256MB 16x(16Mx8) DDR-SDRAM PC2100U-2533-750 (CL2.5 upto 133MHz) (CL2 upto 100MHz)

etc

and don't laugh at my cheap memory, it was free :)

I have

Xerox 512Mb 16x(32x8) PC2100-2533-750 (cl 2.5 up to 133Mhz) (cl2 up to 100Mhz) :)

Why does the label say Samsung on the ram?

I never heard of Xerox selling ram.
