Windows Address book

[MAVERICKS CHOICE]

Is there a simple way I can export or copy my existing windows copy of the address book .WBA to my unattended disk for later installation.

If you plan to import it later, just create a folder within your $1 folder called "Junk" or whatever you'd like. Put your exported WAB into there and it should be copied to C:\Junk during install.

Can't help ya on how to automagically have it import it during install though!

OEM\$Docs\Documents and Settings\User or All users\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book

Will outlook express pick this as the default?

I dont believe thats what outlook uses.. thats windows address book that you can find under accessories start menu. Take a peek at it.. Id be willing to bet theres nothing in it.

There certainly is under "main identity contacts" & I use Outlook Express for mail.

Hrm.. I use outlook 2003 and didnt see anything in my Address Book... figured they both use the same methods for storing contacts... guess not.
