DirectX 9.0c Uninstall

helo guys. i need to reinstall dx 9.0c

is there a way to uninstall them and reinstall or i simply have to reinstall over?

DirectX is a core component. It is impossible to uninstall, but you can try a reinstall

In most cases it is best to install the same or "newer" version of DirectX to either update or resolve problems. It is not possible to use an older version of DirectX and install over a newer to revert to that older version.

In some few cases (recently with DirectX 9.0b) it has been necessary to uninstall as the installation of DirectX 9.0c was somehow being prevented. And of course some people have reason to go back to an older version.

mmm it seems not to work...and i can't reinstall over the previous dx 9.0c....

my problem is that when i go to run the dx benchmark by using dxdiag.exe everytime i test directx acceleration the cube 'rotates' very very fast...faster than usual so i hope my problem of need for speed underground 2 is caused by this DX9 isn't working properly...and because of that i thought to reinstall DX

One safe way of doing this, is to do a system restore. Restore to a point in time, when you did not have the current version installed.
