how to save the history of visited webpages?

i'm about to do a major format and i don't want to lose all those sites that I've visited, i often use the autocomplete of internet explorer.

how can i save those url's easily?

copy your faverites to another safe place,

then copy it back.

ok,

i had the same problem, with 2 twists

1. i just reinstalled XP 2wice without reformatting and now i hve like 3 copies of my history folder, is there a way to merge the 3.

2. had a virus , made a backup of everythin and formatted the partition XP was on, after reinstallning XP the contents in the recycle bin were intact..HOW????

(but the virus is gone)
