jjn1056
I know these are not critical updates, but....Anyone get these to install unattended? People say they take the /q /n /z switches, so can I put them into SVC-HF1 or SVC-CF1? If anyone has tried this, please let me know.Peace,John
tarquel
Yep....If they are actual hotfixes (the ones with no icon - best described elsewhere in the forum) and install like WindowsXP-KB885523-x86-enu.exe then yes, put them into the SVC-HF1 folder. You can see what they are (usually in most cases) by running them on your machine and see what happens - if you get a screen like the attached picture, then its a HF1-style hotfix - you can [Cancel] the hotfix if you dont want to install it on your machine that you are building a xpcreate distribution on, thus no harm done I could be wrong tho lol (just keep that in mind too lol)NOTE: CF1 & 2 doesnt exist yet as these folders are intended for the awaited new release.Regards,N. GreenMachine
In general, blue and white hotfixes go in SVC-HF!, the others go into SVC-HF2. Try and see!
