Gmail pop not working

I just thought about testing GMail's pop and smtp today.

I get request timeout each time i try to connect to the pop or smtp.

does anyone have any experience using gmail pop and smtp?

it's working for me.. though i don't have much mail in there so i dunno what'd happen if i had 100's of emails..

maybe u're internet's slow?

it works for me, did u first turn it on in the gmail settings page ?

Did you change the default port ? : http://gmail.google.com/support/bin/answer...925962738395558 Your client also require SMTP authentification.

mine worked at the beginning, and then just randomly stopped. i have no idea why
