Incroyable HULK Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 Must it be a batch file? Because you could do it easily with Winnt.sif...
Astalavista Posted December 20, 2004 Posted December 20, 2004 do u want a simple solution? just rename your wallpaper to bliss.jpg then cab itmakecab bliss.jpg u will get bliss.jp_put that into your I386 folder your done. Basically XP thinks it is stilinstalling Bliss.jpg but in reality it is a different image.REMEMBER: to cab it. otherwise it wont work.

bmn Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 after cab-bing it, how do i apply the wallpaper to stick with the new bliss.jp_?pls read asta's post once againput that into your I386 folder your done. Basically XP thinks it is stilinstalling Bliss.jpg but in reality it is a different image.
cybpsych Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 i know what astalavista wrote ... that's what i did way back ... it WILL be copied over ... that's tested and proven ...BUT, how do you automatically APPLY the wallpaper during Unattended Setup?on my uA CD, the wallpaper was not applied ... so was just wondering why it didn't apply after i cab the bliss.jpg -> bliss.jp_ ...
bmn Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 got it. u have to patch ur uxtheme.dll i think.its very imp and basic step
Cartoonite Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 What theme (if any) are you applying as a part of your uA setup? Bliss.jpg will only be applied if the default Luna theme is applied.
Astalavista Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 cybpsychare u malay or chinese? i think bmn is correct he has not patched his wfp .
cybpsych Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 LOL, i'm chinese ...fyi, my uA uses Classic Style, turning off all Visual Effect ...this is what i put in my RegTweaks.reg:[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\VisualEffects]"VisualFXSetting"=dword:00000002oh and i'm not using any themes here so ...also, i'm using RyanVM's latest v1.0.4 Update Pack, so the uxtheme.dll has been 'patched/hacked' ...my suspect was due to the disabled Visual Effects ...any more suggestions?
