c4rb0nface Posted December 9, 2004 Posted December 9, 2004 Were you aware of the commonly held opinion that the handshake represents a brief but mutual display of trust encapsulated by unihibited contact between people? Also it is believed that the hand would under more 'antagonistic conditions' reach for the hilt of a weapon & so the fact that the, fighting hand, was being offered open & empty was a real symbol of kinship bestowed if only temporarily.I come here in peace, & in the search of unattended installation guidance & streamlining applications.(Yes is was ridiculously elaborate introduction but what the heck? If you are going in, go all out ).
phoenix_nf Posted December 15, 2004 Posted December 15, 2004 Handshake accepted. BTW... to add to u r welcome speech Due to the mistrust and weapons, etc, it is rude to keep u r hands on the desk.
