problem with gosh source reduction method

i follwed this guide to reduce my xp home source.and i did exactly what he mentioned in this guide.but when i start installation in my virtual pc,setup reporting that some files r missing.like hal.dll,NTKRNLMP.EXE etc.

iam using unattended xp home sp2 slipstreamed.

any idea how to solve this problem

(note:-is this method works only for sp1?)

i have seen this already.but still ,if we choose this method what we loss? any idea(imean integral drivers...like)
