Hi i'm trying to do a silent install of itunes 4.7 but the previous post don't work. I also want to do diskeeper 9.0.exe. Could anyone please show me the code on how to do these two.

diskeeper has definetly been talked about... you have to run the exe, and in your temp directory will be a randomly numbered .MSI file. you can then use the /qb, or /qn

as for itunes, i'm not sure

thanks for the diskeeper silent install. I noticed that itunes 4.7 does create an msi. But when i double click on it it says it needs a setup.exe file. is there something i can do. I was thinking of puting the itunes setup.exe file with the msi i found. i think this will work. if it does then how do i do the switches.

i have also tried an silent installation of itunes and failed; i have even used the help switch (/?) and it displayed what to use (/s /v/qn), but for some reason it still would not silently install. I also can validate that grabbing the extracted msi (and even all the included files in the temp folder) still did not lead to an immediate solution.

i have a 1 gig flash drive. I have a 1.4 Gig bootable XP PRO DVD. What i did was copy all the DVD files into the flash drive. i want to be able to boot of the USB device. I have an Nvidia nForce3 chipset K8N Neo2 Platinum. what settings do i change on the flash drive and bios. Thanks

write MBR to your flash drive and make sure USB legacy is switched on in your bios diff bios's call it diff...it will be clear:)

I got the video drivers and chipset drivers to work.(NFORCE) But my itunes 4.7 setup did'nt work.

define didnt work. error msg, nothing happens?
