mkjellman Posted December 4, 2004 Share Posted December 4, 2004 I need to accomplish this:(A) action: Install Windows XP SP1.® result: Unable to save large files to MAC Samba Server. © cause: TCP/IP's Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) is not being negotiated correctly. ® resolution: Configured the MTU in the registry to 1460 (or 1500) in the following registry key:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces\<ID for Adapter>MTU - REG_DWORD - 1460 (or 1500) (dec)Is there any registry setting that will add the MTU key to every adapter on the system?
