mickd Posted December 3, 2004 Share Posted December 3, 2004 When I do the above in order to ping my router or enter 'ipconfig' I get the response ping/ipconfig etc "is not recognised as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file"Can anybody advise me please ? TiXer Posted December 3, 2004 Share Posted December 3, 2004 When I encountered this problem I found an error in My Computer > Properties > Advanced > the option about Environment (The button is named something more but I'm not shure what that button is named in english.. )Here I checked Path in Systemvariables.. XtremeMaC Posted December 4, 2004 Share Posted December 4, 2004 @mickd that's why i've copied and pasted my own entries. just put them in thereorgo to command prompt at least cmd is working right?when u get in command type (without quotes) "set >>c:\set.txt" then go to c drive and open set.txt and copy paste those stuff over here so we can take a look...
