Problem with SATA Formatting Process (Driver)

Hi i have a problem with my SATA driver, i think!

Here is my config:

Asus A8V Deluxe (K8t800)

Athlon 64 3500+

Corsair TwinX1024 C2 (2X512Mb)

2X SATA 36Gb Raptor

1X PATA 200GB WD Caviar

Win XP SP2

etc.

The 2 raptor are plugged in the VIA controler (VT8237) in a RAID0 Array

Here is my problem:

I tried the driver that came with the motherboard cd-rom and the updated one from asus.com

When i'm formating in the begining of windows installation, I choose to format in NTFS, and ''the format process takes only 2-3 seconds'' and then installation continues.

The first time i thought that was cool but now that been 3-4 times that i format and a lot of program cannot run properly on my raptor HD.

I tried Half Life 2 for example and when i installed it on my raptor i have an Fatal Error each time i run it, but when installed on my 200Gb all is OK, Same for my FTP Server and Getright, etc.

So if someone can figure out what is my problem that would be nice

I think maybe the formatting process is the problem so i suppose my driver is the problem.

This has indeed nothing to do with an unattended installation, but it does fit in with the Device Drivers I think...

Did you overclock your setup? Because if the memory becomes instable due to too high overclocking, it's quite normal that such errors show up...
