SATA compatibility in PE

I am having trouble booting SATA (serial ATA)disks to PE. The systems continually hang when detecting hardware. Im using PE 1.2 at the moment, is this something that is fixed in later versions. Has anyone else had this problem ?

I suggest going here, http://communities.microsoft.com/newsgroup...s.oem.windowsxp , and see if anyone else has had a similiar problem.
