MCT
Desktop.ini (place this in the folder u are wanting 2 have the icon in)[.ShellClassInfo]IconFile="iconname.ico"IconIndex=0InfoTip=This Folder Contains Crap about Other Crap.ConfirmFileOp=0Note *.ico file MUST be in the same directory as desktop.ini (which is in your folder u are wanting the icon on)
totoymola
Wow! Thanks a lot for the quick reply MCT!! I guess WinRAR will do take care of this job for me, again. Wait, do I have to set the "hidden" attribute to the desktop.ini and the *.ico? And will this work on a folder on the %systedrive%, or do I have to name it as a different file? Because it is desktop.ini, so I assume it only works for the desktop. [EDIT] Haha! I tried setting the "Show Hidden System Files" option, and the desktop.ini came out. I should have tried that before posting. Thanks again!By the way, I discovered that it is not necessary to have the icon file on the same folder. Because my desktop.ini for the Multimedia folder looks like this.[.ShellClassInfo]IconFile=%ProgramFiles%\Movie Maker\moviemk.exeIconIndex=0But what is the purpose of the ConfirmFileOp=0?
