November 30, 200421 yr what registry tweaks did you apply?For now, you can just do Alt+F4 at the empty desktop and you'll be able to shutdown/reboot/hibernate.
November 30, 200421 yr Check out X-Setup and Go to Appearance -> Start Menu -> Windows XP -> Classic Startmenu or New Startmenu -> Visible Items... and make sure Bottom Shutdown is selected.also, post your RegTweak file and i'll see if i can find where it changes it.
