October 4, 200223 yr try right clicking on the folder...now if it is a shared folder...it may not let you do it...when you right click ...click properties...and take off archiving...as well as a share if it has one...
October 5, 200223 yr also, the folder or a file within the folder may be in use. sometimes explorer (not IE Explorer) may be open and that causes the message. close explorer and reopen or change directories. a slow cpu or over taxed system may take a few seconds to responde.
October 6, 200223 yr If that doesnt work, boot into safe mode and you'll be able to delete all you want (besides some of the windows files)
