just brought two Seagate Chetah 36LP ST336704LCV 36.7gb and the firmware says ST336704LC., the drive lable say's ST336704LCV does the frimware determine the

drive specifications. the guy i brought them from say's The firmware does not determine the drive specifications. what's the truth on this, and has any one ever had this happen.
