update after sp2 :Microsoft VM

i update my xp after installed sp2 .

in v5 update site , there are 2 pack:

kb834707 (ie update)

kb816093 (Microsoft VM)

what i want to ask is :

is that needed to integrate them to my xp_sp2 unattend cd ?

btw: install command:

kb834707: /q /n/ /z

kb816093: msjavwu.exe /c:"javatrig.exe /exe_install /l /q" /q:a /r:n

(To warn users if any errors)

or msjavwu.exe /c:"javatrig.exe /exe_install /l /qq" /q:a /r:n

(not warn users about any errors)

hi.. im sure u can run the ie update with /integrate run the installer with /? 2 see for sure, once its /integrate'd u dont have 2 run any switches, this is the easiest, cuz it doesnt need 2 be called by u during install, xp will put it into the current files of the cd

834707 can be integrated with the /integrate switch. 816093 can't. Of course, I'd personally recommend you take Microsoft's hint and not install their JavaVM and use Sun's instead, but that's just me.

Finally, do your homework next time. There's a sticky at the top of this forum which discusses this topic in more detail. It's a pain for those of us who post regularly to have redundant threads popping up over and over again because people can't be bothered to do their own research before asking questions.
