kurt476 Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 can some reommand some video software whitch is the best i only 667 MHz processor and i have 192 mb's of ram i have a cd-rw and i have a video capture card. now what i am looking for in software is filtering out and blocks and flicks and you know how vhs taps are with the tracking too i have to adjust iand brighten up the screen too pluse there is little colore line to i'm looking for software that has the filtering capablity so i can put my vhs taps on cd can some recommand software has all the capilblty?

With a PC with those specs, I'd rather be looking into a card that does hardware encoding like the PVR250 (lots of software supports it too) I'm so glad I don't do analog capturing anymore... As far as VHS tapes go, it's even worse to capture (especially if it's older/worn out tapes as the sync pulses can be weak/missing), in which case you can look into other (and usually more expensive) alternatives.
