November 11, 200421 yr Did you change the "SetupSourcePath" line in your txtsetup.sif as explained in the guide?
November 11, 200421 yr i suspect more of a error of you didn't recreate your bootfolder after slipstreaming SP2.
November 12, 200421 yr I think the problem is that the boot folder was from a sp1 installation. Now I cannot get it to start an installation again with win sp2. Any suggestions?
November 12, 200421 yr 1. update your os to sp2, 2. slipstream the setup files to sp23. follow the guide to re-get the boot files for sp2
November 12, 200421 yr I think the problem is that the boot folder was from a sp1 installation. Now I cannot get it to start an installation again with win sp2. Any suggestions?did I not say it was caused by you not recreating the boot folder?just follow the XP part of the flyakite.msfnhosting.com website again after slipstreaming SP2 into the source.
November 12, 200421 yr as mentioned, upgrade your os to sp2 as first step to avoid the (fatal)error message when you try to get boot files.
November 12, 200421 yr I ended up finally getting the boot folder working off a 98se installation. No matter what I did it wouldn't work on win2ksp4 os or winxpprosp2. There would always be an error... Still not sure why...
