file version conversion

is there any way ican convert old file version to new version.

i want to replace my old logonui.exe with new one.

my version is ---6.00.2900.2180 (xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158)

and the file version i downloaded is---6.00.2600.0000 (xpclient.010817-1148)

and this is not working for me.i know we can edit its resource but the file is very large.

so guys is there any way ican solve this problem.

use resource tuner to extract all files for original and add em into the new one thats the only way i believe
