How to change default Tahoma system font in XP?

Hi everyone!

Is it possible to change the default Tahoma font used in XP?

I mean not only in "Advanced Appearance" option but on the desktop and everywhere else it's used by default?

I searched through google and on the forum but with no luck and I tried Windowblinds but there's no option for it...

Any help?

Thanks,

Andrea

I'm not sure but, what if you rename your favorite font to "tahoma", replace the original one and burn an ISO? Test it in MS Virtual PC if it works. I repeat, I'm not sure of what i'm saying :P

not sure what you're after. i do know that the below reg file will change defaults systems fonts to tahoma. maybe you can work something out from it ?

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\FontSubstitutes]

"Helv"="Tahoma"

"Helvetica"="Tahoma"

"MS Shell Dlg 2"="Tahoma"

"MS Sans Serif"="Tahoma"

"Microsoft Sans Serif"="Tahoma"

"Sans Serif"="Tahoma"

"MS Shell Dlg"="Tahoma"
