AllsWell
Hello allFinally, XPlode is running on my computer! This tool is quite impressive!I still have some questions… - XPInstall.exe and XPInstall.xml In the topic “How to run XPlode / XPinstall , CD, HD, @ T-13, T-12, T-9, First Logon”, Wraith don’t stop using XPInstall… I wonder where I could find those files. I look for them in the XP CD, but I wasn’t able to find them (. I ask this question to be able to integrate my post-installation in the same look and feel of the Windows XP installation - Could we rename the plug-ins in a 8.3 format? In fact, I spend some time checking the log file to find what was the problem… I finally discover than the plug-ins were named following the 8.3 name convention, with the character ~… A good point would be to add a warning in the log if no plug- ins are loaded. I found the solution in this forum... making an archive and unpack it during the installation. - What is the value of %XPLODE%? - Is it any way to remove error message during the un-installation of MSN Messenger by using the following command line. I receive a message “Error unregistering the OCX 16422” [RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\inf\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove] Well that’s all for now Anyways, congratulation for this wonderful tool. I look forward to use the new version!Cheers
Alanoll
1. XPinstall is the OLD XPlode. All functionality is implemented in Xplode.2. %XPLODE% is teh current path to where Xplode is located.
