Wedge1 Posted October 26, 2004 Posted October 26, 2004 I don't have enough room on one CD for all the things I need. Can I create a partition on my hard drive that contains the remaining applications to be installed, then run that as a 2nd batch file under [GuiRunOnce]? If so, would I just replaced %systemdrive% with the drive letter of the partition?
CoffeeFiend Posted October 26, 2004 Posted October 26, 2004 You could-use a 2nd CD-use a DVD instead-use a partition(...)add another "key" file in the root of it, and use the same method to set your new %CDRom% to whatever drive it is, at the middle of your .cmd file, and just keep going (unless you want a 2nd CD that you'd swap). Look around and you'll find it's been answered before
Wedge1 Posted October 27, 2004 Author Posted October 27, 2004 I am getting nowhere with the search function: "mutilple cds"; "space problem"; "2nd cd"; "creating cds"; "multiple disks" (one hit); "more than one disk"; "disk too small"; and others..Sorry, just want members to know that I am making a real effort here. How do I make a "key" file in the root of it? I'm not sure what you mean.Edit: This might be what I'm looking for: Linky
