hevnbnd Posted October 23, 2004 Posted October 23, 2004 Ok i need to know if skipping a line makes a difference. Below is an example of what i mean:EXAMPLE 1: ;----- Enable Cascading of various special folders on Start Menu ;-----[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced]"CascadeNetworkConnections"="YES" ;----- Show file extensions ;-----"HideFileExt"=dword:00000000EXAMPLE 2: ;----- Enable Cascading of various special folders on Start Menu ;-----[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced]"CascadeNetworkConnections"="YES" ;----- Show file extensions ;-----"HideFileExt"=dword:00000000Will both of the above give me the same results? Example one i skipped a line between "CascadeNetworkConnections"="YES" and ;----- Show file extensions I want to know if skipping that line will cause "HideFileExt"=dword:00000000 not to be added to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced]
jbm Posted October 23, 2004 Posted October 23, 2004 both will work the same. You can had as many blank lines as you need.
