pdubz Posted October 22, 2004 Posted October 22, 2004 I want my unattended XP Pro w/slipstreamed SP2 installation to move a few shortcuts around in the start menu... how would I do this, and where would I specify it?
CoffeeFiend Posted October 22, 2004 Posted October 22, 2004 the DEL command will delete anything you want... in the start menu, desktop or anywhere.Here's an example to delete that annoying winzip link (goes inside a .bat or .cmd file):del "%AllUsersProfile%\Start Menu\WinZip.lnk"

Where would be a good place to put the command in order to ensure that it is carried out as the very last step of the install?Also, I don't suppose you could point me in the direction of a few more batch file commands, could you?
