zivan56 Posted October 23, 2004 Posted October 23, 2004 The only thing that *might* work is the renew/release IP button in most SMC routers. Realistically, the amount of time you have an IP is determined by you ISP's DHCP server, which sets when the IP should be renewed.
baggers02 Posted October 23, 2004 Posted October 23, 2004 Yes, thats right. I use a Belkin ADSL modem router and the setting on this is 'Lease Time'. i have mine set forever but this can be set as short as 30 mins.
