Woomera
hey ,sorry it maybe the most stupid question around but i wanna know where does windows xp sp2 store the downloaded file from windows update?
Se7eNdUsT
C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\Download\That's basically a temp file with no extension. However, if you run/install the hotfix, the file should end up in a randomly named folder inside your temp folder (probably c:\Windows\Temp\).So while it's installing, justy make sure you grab it before it finishes, else rename the temp file with no extension. Coolsights2000
the way i get them is go the Microsoft download center...search for the KB numberhttp://www.microsoft.com/downloads/search....?displaylang=enI liked the old version V4 update you could get to them real easy not anymore....some times you can go to yahoo and do a search and you will get the page right up front and better than the MS site search engine...Mac! Se7eNdUsT
Or you could go here and have the hotfixes listed by release date. However you'll have to decide whether or not you need the fix.http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/results...layEnglishAlso=
