I hope some1 cam be of assistance for this one. I have a button i made. this is it:

navibutton1_Shape-1.gif

Created in photoshop7, i have a rounded rectangle shape with 2 colors as my base layer (Layer 1)... layer 2 is the green leaf. layers 3-11 are text (home, contact, etc...)

I now have it opened in imageReady. what i want is an "over" rollover state so that if the user were to put the mouse over it i want the leaf (layer 2) to fade colors like so:

navibutton1_Shape-1-over.gif

BUT i also want the text to have an outter glow, but want the text glow to fade up then stay at a specified intensity. i have the cycle at 19 frames and by the end frame, the leaf goes throu one cycle (green - orange -green) and the text glow by the last frame will be at 100% (fade up). if i have the gif repeat, the leaf still appears to be flashing, but the text glow will suddenly dissapear and start over, where-as i want it to stay at 100%.

navibutton1_Shape-2-over.gif

the only way i can think of is to make the animation like 1 million frames (exageration) and copy frames 1-19 over and over then select frames 20-?? and have the glow at 100%.

there has got to be an easier way to do this. i have done each layer seperatly (leaf and text) and had the rollover work... but the mouse had to go over JUST the text for the text to work or JUST the leaf for the leaf to flash. keep in mind this is a button and i want both to work when the mouse is ANYWHERE in the button.

thanx,

Jay

the design is good but the last one the fade color in blue is not realy good beacause green and blue are two colors that doesn´t fix to each other.

you should use an other color like yellow but not so hard yellow a smoother color

i hope you understand what i mean

so long
