my2001
Good question, I've also tried it with no success. And at the end of the installation there is this stupid reboot which I can't suppress till today.
crose
Has anyone been able to solve this issue? I have the Logitech Quickcam 4000, and am trying to install the latest drivers (v8.4.6) available from Logitech. The installer is InstallShield. I have tried installing the entire software package, as well as just the drivers. I can do the install manually and record the .iss file, but when I try the /s switch, it doesn't work. I have tried setting a path for the log file, as well as the .iss file with no luck. Logitech support replied that they do not support silent/unattended installs. One thing I noticed is when just installing the drivers, it will launch as if it were going to install silently, then it pops up the welcome screen. I've tried setting those dialog boxes to "0" in the .iss file, but that didn't accomplish anything.Any help here would be appreciated.
Shark007
i have no problem integrating the latest quickcam drivers.i use WINNT.SIF for this. (unattended installation)In the section:[unattended] OemPnPDriversPath="x:\fullpathname\to" ... anydriver.infhint: if the folder containing your driver is on the %systemdrive%you can use this syntax: OemPnPDriversPath="fullpathname\to"also, the above path is limitted to 4096 characters.Works without a hitch for almost any driver (video, sound. lan, chipset, etc.)SharkEditted for path clarity Edited July 6, 2005 by Shark007

totoymola
Or integrate it with nlite. The driver's installer is not good. Even if its created using InstallShield.
